The chemistry that he has with his craft is unstoppable & without any doubts. Of course I being a huge fan, this mix could not have started off better! This latest mix from DJ Gneous was indeed hot! You can listen to this mix whether you on lunch break and need to regroup, heading to the club to get you pumped up to me however, its best played in the actually club, the vibe, mood and the transitions is best for that kind of vibe if you really want to go out and have a great time!! This mix truly kept my head bobbin heavy and played all the new joints that are out! Gneous to me represents a DJ that is diverse in making mixes. Personally I didn’t like the transition with the Rihanna & Eminem song. To me it could have been a little bit faster especially considering it was a club banger! But as usually, you cannot go wrong with hearing the artistry that goes into choosing the music vibe & feeling when it comes to Gneous’s designing & creativity of mixes. That is surely why he continues to stay on top and stays as one of the best known DJs around!!

Anyone who has lost someone close, their “brother” can take this song, run with it & reminisce. We can lay back, smoke one (yeah don’t pretend yall having hit that good Kush) & laugh at the times & the fond memories. With all that is going on out in these streets, we need to be reminded that even though these people are gone, they will always be remembered for their unique essence. This is one of those songs that you say “I get it, I feel you brotha, I understand”. Truly Jay, I get it & you will take music to a new level of excellence & with DJ Gneous, the sky is the limit! Everything I listen to regarding old school hip hop, especially when it is hosted by DJ Gneous, I feel like this is where he is most comfortable, this is where he goes back to his roots, his childhood, etc. I really went back to my childhood for real when I heard Mc Lyte spitting, she is one dope ass emcee!!

The transitions from one jam to the next give you a great vibe, one of those vibes that makes you feel good, that vibe you get when you just want to sit down, have a couple of drinks & enjoy some great people!! DJ Gneous has a great appreciation for old-school hip-hop & its shows. As for me as a faithful listener of DJ Gneous, I appreciate that he keeps REAL hip-hop alive, & he does it with a creative format!!
